You Say Ounce, We Say Quart

Ever tried growing auto-flowering cannabis?  We did for the first time this Spring.  As with the rest of this year's crop, we planted a Sweet Tooth auto sprout on March 20.  The seed, developed by Canuk Seeds, was a freebie from True North Seed Bank,  so we had nothing to lose.  Eight weeks after planting, flowers started to appear, and at 13 weeks we harvested the 31" tall plant.  Short growing season, short plant.

This particular strain is a 60/40 hybrid, heavier on the indica, with a 16% THC content. A standard Sweet Tooth was crossed with Lowryder #2 to create the auto-flowering version.  There are tales of yields of 200 grams per plant, but we reaped 28 grams, or one ounce, or in Grammy's terms, one quart jar.  Not bad for free!
