October Harvest

Let the harvest begin!  Last week Grammy harvested our Panama Red, and today the very sticky and aromatic Super Silver Haze, from Coastal Genetics, had her turn.  

Up next in the coming week, our 6 foot tall Acapulco Gold.  That girl's going to take some time to clean and we'll probably get 3 quarts from her.  Later in November, Strawberry Haze and Venus will be ready.  Both got a late start as replacements for plants lost to racoon digging.

Over at Doctor Green's house, we'll be harvesting Jupiter this week, a big, lush indica.  After we figured out how to keep the butterflies from depositing eggs on the buds (by putting everybody in a crop cage) we stopped the bud loss caused by ravenous caterpillars.  We might have lost two quarts of buds before we smartened up.  Still, we think it's going to be a banner year.
