It's been three weeks since the autumnal equinox, and our Silver Surfer Haze is finally in flower.  It will be deep into November before she comes to harvest. We're continuing to harvest the rest of the girls and just finished with Blueberry and Afghan Kush x White Widow.   We've started harvesting side branches of Double Chocolate, Super Lemon Haze, and Atomic Bomb.

Both Blueberry and AFxWW suffered the wrath of sawfly larvae and butterfly caterpillars, so the yield was a bit less than hoped for, since we had to throw away some chewed up buds.  Both girls topped out at 41" in height.  Since we are at latitude 32.7157° N, we don't get the really long days of northern California, Oregon and Washington, but we do alright.

Blueberry yielded 59 grams and AKxWW gave us 47 grams.  We did the math, and based on what we paid for the seeds, it came out to 24 cents a gram for Blueberry, and 17 cents a gram for AKxWW.  Remember that next time you think, Why should I grow when I can buy from the pot shop?
